History That Never Was

Perhaps my new hat is also a strange type of mushroom!

It’s time for the February 2023 writing prompts, and yet again, I’m borrowing my lists from other sources. It’s the combination of the three, I think, that will lead to interesting things.

Words in the first column are from the Kick in the Creatives February 2023 art prompts. They’ve got the most variety!

Words in the second column are from the 2019 edition of Fairyuary, by Tumblr user pinceauarcenciel, which I found posted here. Fairyuary is an art challenge themed around fairies, so the words in that column are meant to be inspirations for a fairy connected to that word. Here, of course, you can use them for other things within your writing as well!

Words in the third column are from Twitter user feef’s Funguary 2023 list. These are all different types of fungus. Some are listed with their common names, while others are listed with their Latin scientific names. For this column, if you don’t want to write 28 pieces about mushrooms and other fungi, I’d recommend Googling the name of the fungus and seeing if you can draw inspiration from what these fungi look like!
