History That Never Was

Not a pretty photo, but I’m in the table of contents of ASIMOV’S!

I had a couple of new pieces come out in April

My flash fiction piece, “Mutualism by Any Other Name,” appeared in the April issue of Factor Four Magazine. They’ve published me before, but I was pleased to find this story a home, as it’s an odd one, told from the perspective of a grove of trees.

Also, as the image to the left shows, I had my poem, “Bad Luck for the Fates,” published in the May/June issue of Asimov’s. I only hyperventilated a little bit on the day I got the acceptance, and only a little more when the print issue arrived in my mailbox! Seeing this in print was a dream come true. And it’s got fantastic art accompanying it!
