My submissions were a bit slower in August, though I don’t have a lot of reasons why that was the case. We were a little bit busy, but not much more than usual, and certainly not nearly as busy as we were in July. Nonetheless, my numbers were down, so I’ll work on getting those back up in September. I sold a flash fiction piece in August, but it won’t be out for about a year, so I’ll talk more about it when it’s a bit closer.
The photo this month is from a concert we went to right at the end of August, which was our second concert in that month. We have a couple of concerts a month for the next two months, as well, before we take a couple of vacations. (And of course, a group I would like to see is playing in Seattle the night before we get back from a trip … though even if that show was the next night, I’d be in no state to go then, either!)
I’ve been working on a handful of pieces, some new and some revisions, plus editing a couple of books in the Cobalt City (and adjacent) Universe. And I’ve been helping out with prep work for Flights of Foundry, which is coming up in a couple of weeks. More on that soon!
