Newer Steampunk Stories!
It’s been a while since I posted about my steampunk stories, so I’ve got a bit of catching up to do!
Back in December 2022, Factor Four Magazine published “Don’t Count Your Sprite Shards Before They’re Caged,” a flash fiction piece involving an airship, a captain, and her crew pursuing a dangerous energy source. While some of the premise here might sound very similar to my Brass and Glass trilogy, this is a different airship, captain, and crew. It’s probably a different world, too, but I suppose there’s nothing stopping this one from being part of the Brass and Glass world!
In November 2023, “Don’t Count Your Sprite Shards Before They’re Caged” got an audio version at Manawaker Flash Fiction Podcast. They’ve created audio versions of a number of my stories, and they’re all fantastic!
In June 2023, I released my collection, Wreathed in Steam, which collects a bundle of my steampunk and gaslamp fantasy stories and poetry. It’s available only in ebook format, but it’s the best place to find a lot of my shorter steampunk work, including a number of pieces that aren’t available anywhere else!
