Christmas and Other Winter Read Recommendations

If you’re looking for something to read over the holidays, here are a few suggestions from my stories and books!

Cross and Circle takes place in December and January, with Christmas and other holidays in the background of the story, but still a part of it. It’s also got academia, strange cults, and LGBTQ+ characters!

“Nochevieja” is a New Year’s Eve story that appeared in Cobalt City Christmas 2: Christmas Harder, which features a variety of winter holidays in this second volume. My story is Sarah Castile (Huntsman/Sure Shot) home for the holidays and helping out her brother with his personal life (and a little bit of hero-ing).

My story “The Gift” in Intercity Illusions is probably the most explicitly Christmas thing I’ve written, as a father looks for a gift for his young daughter … at a Goblin Market.

If you’re looking for something that isn’t winter holiday themed, I have a lot more options, and nearly everything on the front page of my site is available as an ebook, so you can even wait until the last minute to pick which book you want to read!
