It’s the spooky season, so today’s image writing prompts are also on the eerie side.

The first image is a black and white image of leafless trees in a faint mist, with a two-track path beginning in the right hand foreground and extending into the distance. There may be a shrouded figure in the distance, though the mist makes it hard to pick out any details.

The second image is a more fantastical image in hues of purple and blue. In the foreground, a short set of stairs leads to a stone-slab archway, with a black bird sitting to the left of the archway. In the background, large carved stone statues with thick discs atop their heads sit at several levels, all facing the viewer.

The third image depicts a person with the top of their head removed, exposing their brain; their eyes white; and their lips marked with black lines simulating stitches across them. The person’s arms frame their face, with their hands covering the bulk of the upper portion of their head. The background is gray and white and misty.
