I think it’s safe to say at this point that if a project has Taika Waititi’s name attached to it, it will be a hit in our household. His latest show, Our Flag Means Death, is no exception. We didn’t jump on watching it right away only because we were working through other shows. But once we started watching this one, we finished the whole thing in just over a week, mainly because we paced ourselves and would only watch a couple of episodes a day.

So, what is there to say about Our Flag Means Death that hasn’t already been said all over the internet? Not much. It’s hilarious, with positive LGBTQ+ representation and non-toxic masculinity outweighing the toxic masculinity. And hopefully (fingers crossed), it’ll get another season, because we need some closure! (Yeah, it ends on a cliffhanger, but it’s still worth watching it now and then watching it again before the next season comes out!)
