Japanese Legends in Old Legends and New Fables
Among the many legends and fables my pieces in Old Legends and New Fables touch upon, I have one small piece related to Japanese legends. “The View from Mount Fuji” is about a meteor or comet, with a brief mention of the oni. And while that’s a very broad group of legendary creatures, they were an inspiration for this poem.
