The Big Pink Book Prompt 10, Free Spirit
This week’s prompt from the Big Pink Book is a mostly open page with four stickers, one at each corner. Clockwise from the upper left, they are:
- A card from the Winnie the Pooh tarot deck corresponding to a card that isn’t found in any other deck that I’ve encountered. Its meaning is joy or happiness, and it depicts Piglet, Christopher Robin, and Winnie the Pooh in the air, while Eeyore watches them from the ground.
- A large yellow dot with no markings.
- A loosely hexagonal sticker with the words “free spirit” in a cursive-like font in the center, with multicolored dots in the upper and lower portions, and the central area framed by gold flourishes, dots, and lines at the top and bottom of that section.
- Another sticker from the Winnie the Pooh tarot deck that shows the suits the deck uses, including a branch (wands/staves), gold disc with a star on it (coins/pentacles), a jar of honey (cups), and a wood sword (swords). There’s also a bee or fly above these elements.
With all that space, this page is great for jotting notes or pieces of a story or poem, and the “free spirit” text might be a good inspiration for the sort of words you want to write. Come back on Friday to see what I did with it!
