Unfixed Timelines 4 Out Today
My latest collection, Unfixed Timelines 4: Essays and Short Stories of a History That Never Was, is now out!
A young Mary Shelley learning about scientific experiments to reanimate the dead, the ghosts of two brothers helping a living girl outwit a fraudulent psychic, memories of an heirloom quilt, and a young girl meeting a strange creature who wants to learn to write. In this fourth volume of fantastical history, you’ll find four stories written for younger readers in which history and speculative fiction combine. Each story is accompanied by a brief essay about the history (and sometimes science) behind the story, plus recommendations for further reading in historical fiction and non-fiction!
The stories and essays in this collection are written for younger readers, but older readers are likely to enjoy them as well. All four stories have young protagonists, and the fiction and non-fiction recommendations at the end of each essay give the publisher-recommended age range for readers. I also included content notes in the Foreword, so adults can determine if the stories are right for the younger readers they know.
Unfixed Timelines 4 in only available in ebook, but you can find it where you like to buy digital books!
