My Latest Horror and Dark Fantasy Pieces
I’ve published a handful of horror and dark fantasy pieces in the nine months since my last post on my spooky reads!
Weathering Youth contains stories featuring younger protagonists, but that doesn’t mean the stories are all light and fluffy. In particular, “Remembrance” (drabble), “A Trail of Apples” (short story), “No Fear” (flash fiction), “Someone Else” (microfiction), and “I Won’t Open My Eyes” (flash fiction) are among the darker stories in the collection.
In addition to those, I have four drabbles in Hawthorn & Ash that are all on the darker side of the spectrum. These include “Witch Knight,” “Tarot Esoterica: The Black Lagoon,” “Glaistig,” and “The Graveyard.”
Finally, I had a flash fiction piece out at the beginning of March in Alocasia, “Propagating Rosa glacies,” which is slightly darker fantasy, though with a bit of dark humor as well.
You can also find my darker pieces in Volatile Figments, Doorways in the Gloom, and Dead-Starred Futures, along with my YA horror epistolary novella, Camp Haunt!
