History That Never Was

Well, 2024 is just around the corner, so here we go with the first writing prompt post for the year!

List 1 is Doodlewash’s January 2024 list. I added a link to “puffling” on this list because I only learned when I looked it up that it’s a baby puffin! How cute is that?!

List 2 is for a “Janu-faerie” event from 2020 or 2021 by a Tumblr user named paperwick. The additional prompt the artist gave was to imagine what sort of faerie would like each of these foods.

Finally, list 3 is a 2017 list from Thrifty Melon, with a couple of small tweaks on my end.

There are, inexplicably, some weird overlaps in the list this month, some that I didn’t anticipate when I picked out which lists I wanted to share here. As usual, those are the starred items, and you can either ignore the duplicates, reuse them, or have a piece where you work on it on both of the days where the word appears. It’s totally up to you! If you have a different idea for how to handle duplicates, that’s awesome too! (And I would love to hear about your ideas!)
