The World in A Tarot of Sorcery and Sages
The World tarot card represents wholeness, completion, and achievement. In A Tarot of Sorcery and Sages, this is represented by a haiku and a poem.
The haiku, titled “reinvent yourself” after the first line, embodies all three of the meanings above. Meanwhile, the poem, “Pieced,” is an autobiographical look at my parents and grandparents and how their traits are combined in me. It touches on both the wholeness and completion aspects of the World tarot card and also felt like a perfect piece to conclude this collection.
Both of these pieces are exclusive to A Tarot of Sorcery and Sages. Although this concludes my look at the Major Arcana and how I used their meanings to craft a collection, you can always pick up A Tarot of Sorcery and Sages in ebook format to check out the 44 poems and stories it collects!
