My numbers for April are looking the best they have this year! I worked to get a bunch of submissions out this past month, and I also finished several new pieces–five poems, a drabble, and a short story! I also had three acceptances in April, all of which were at Reach Your Apex. “The Strange Case of Patient 252” and “Bodybuilding Competition” are both out, with “The Song of Transformation” to come soon!
Because we had a big office move in April, most of my writing time was spent on resubmissions, as I rarely had enough brain power for fiction. I got a bit of work done on some new pieces, in part in conjunction with my new prompt book that I created. I also got Bounty of the Atoll set up (out on May 11th) and have started working on my July collection. I haven’t touched Roz Remembers since I got back from the convention, though. So maybe I’ll think about that in May, in addition to revising some flash fiction and working on new pieces from my prompt book.
