History That Never Was

We’ve recently started an Instagram account for DefCon One Publishing, and one of the features on that Instagram is writing prompts every couple of weeks. You can catch them on Fridays on Instagram, or every so often, I’ll round up several of them and post them here!

The three prompts this week are:

1. Write a piece about a dragon where you didn’t expect one
2. Write a piece where the thing the protagonist most wants is the one thing they can’t have
3. Write a piece involving perfect weather, but something else going horribly wrong

All of these have the possibility of being interpreted a few different ways, so take the one that speaks to you and write away! And check out the DefCon One Instagram for these prompts and so much more!
