My October 2022 New Releases!
I had three new pieces out in the month of October!
My poem, “Portrait Day at Zapus Zone 9 Academy,” appeared in the October issue of Star*Line. Super exciting for me was that this poem is on the BACK COVER, so when people flip over the issue, I’m right there for the world to read! The poem is about picture day at a school with many species of alien and solving the problem brought about by a lazy school picture photographer.
My flash fiction piece “Senchado in Microgravity,” which was previously published in print, was podcast at Manawaker Flash Fiction Podcast in October. This is another sci-fi piece, this time dealing with siblings, grief, and traditions.
Finally, my flash fiction piece “Patience,” appeared in Wyldblood Magazine this month. This one is a fantasy story about what it sometimes takes to get what you want.
Of these pieces, the first and third are from the perspective of a teen or younger, while the second is from the perspective of a young adult or twenty-something. They’re all appropriate for many ages, though!
