If you’re looking for an unlikely place to learn about a topic, check out the courses on Atlas Obscura! Originally known as a site for strange places, Atlas Obscura has branched out to offering on-demand and live courses. And while not all of them are directly related to writing, some of them may be on topics that authors want to learn about for the purpose of writing a book or story.

Since they’re online courses, they may be more viable than an in-person class in a specific location. And there are options for those who need financial assistance for the courses as well!

I’m registered for the horror writing course next month, and I’m eyeballing a few other interesting topics for the future!
