History That Never Was

I had two new sci-fi pieces out in July, one poem and one short story!

My poem, “The Way Forward is a Maze,” appeared in the Veterans of Alien Wars issue of Eye to the Telescope. I wrote this poem for this call for submissions, and it turned out well. The poem is about how a space veteran returns to life on Earth (or another planet).

My short story, “Asylum,” appeared in volume 12 of Etherea Magazine. I describe this story as “hacking 3D printers to sabotage the alien invaders.” There are some nerdy references and some characters I just adored writing in this story! (Also, if you check out the page where you can order this magazine, they had graphics made for each of the stories in the magazine issue, and I’m utterly delighted with the one for “Asylum”! I kinda want it as a poster!)
