If you’re interested in the Regency period, particularly the fashion of the time, check out Fashion in the Age of Bridgerton: Plates from the Lady’s Magazine. It’s a fantastic resource for writers of historical fiction that happens to coincide with this time period, but it’s also of note if you’re interested in the history of fashion or the history of fashion magazines. For example, did you know that fashion plates prior to photography had to be hand colored? So as you check out the amazing collection at Fashion in the Age of Bridgeton, you can imagine all the work that went into making the images look so beautiful … maybe there’s a story in that, too!
