Fun for Friday: April 2022 Writing Prompts!

The peacock was hanging out on the rocks in the penguin enclosure!

It’s nearly the end of March, and though I could post these prompts next Friday, on April 1st, I thought I’d get them posted a little earlier than that.

April’s a good month for spring words and all sorts of word about wind. There are a handful of other words thrown into the mix to make things a little more interesting now and then, of course.

There’s also a fun image with this post, from when the peacock at our local zoo, who pretty much has free run of the entire zoo, had leapt onto one of the rocks in the penguin enclosure. While we watched, he steadily made his way up to the higher rocks you see in the background, and we assume he eventually wandered off. We cheered him on till he got to the top and then wandered off to see more animals ourselves.

Check back on the last Friday of each month (or occasionally the first day of a new month, when that falls on a Friday) for my History That Never Was writing prompts!
