History That Never Was

“Full-Weekend Pass” is one of my older stories, one I was never able to find a publisher for, but one I believed in nonetheless. I loved the idea of a convention related to what people believed was a fictional world, and one of the characters from that fictional world coming to the convention to meet someone else involved with the world.

Also, this story let me introduce the League of Steves, which was largely a joke about me naming a lot of NPCs in games “Steve” or some variation thereon. So I decided to collect various Steves into a gaming group that the characters encounter.
