History That Never Was

My next collection, Sure Shot Stories: Tales of the Lady Huntsman, will be out from DefConOne Publishing on July 14! This collection takes two of my published Sarah Castile stories and adds a third, unpublished story to the mix. All three stories are set in the post-World War II era, with two in Europe and one in Cobalt City, so all three are a sort of prequel to the Sure Shot stand-alone novellas. Both this book and the novellas can be read in any order you like! Luke Spooner/Carrion House is my cover artist for this series, and I love how he portrays Sarah on each cover!

Since the founding of Cobalt City, there has been a Huntsman protecting its citizens. However, the women of the Castile family have never been allowed to bear the mantle more than briefly. Sure Shot Stories: Tales of the Lady Huntsman collects three short stories featuring Sarah Castile, the so-called Lady Huntsman, who defied her family’s tradition overseas and at home during and after World War II before making a new name for herself in Cerulean City as Sure Shot!
