Review of Tea and Treachery at the Infinite Pantry by Jo Miles

Tea and Treachery at the Infinite Pantry by Jo Miles (2026) is a delightful cozy mystery set in a fantastical world, filled with tea, delicious foods, cats, and the promised treachery!

Glendevyn is the recently appointed head curator of the Infinite Pantry, a museum dedicated to food. When the preservation spells that keep the museum’s collections safe start to fail, she finds herself at the forefront of a race to save her beloved home and the found family that comprises the museum’s staff. Along the way, she finds many twists, turns, and massive surprises that have been under her nose all along.

Although the mystery at the heart of this novel has high stakes for those involved, the overall story manages to be quite cozy. The characters are all incredibly richly detailed, even those who have only a small part to play. In addition, the setting is simply lovely, and the descriptions of the tea and food are lovingly handcrafted. (And as someone who has shared tea with Jo, I know how close to their heart this is!)

If you enjoy books or other media about food, found family, and cozy mysteries, check out Tea and Treachery at the Infinite Pantry when it comes out on April 21. You can pre-order it now from a variety of sources, all listed in the link above.
