History That Never Was

I’m posting today to announce a brief hiatus from daily blogging. I’ll still have posts every now and then, which will mostly be book reviews and other important announcements, at least until I can get back in to my regular swing of things.

2025 has been an incredibly hectic year for me, and I’m finally at the point where I’m realizing that I need to step back from some of my self-imposed commitments to give myself time to rest. I’ve also done less fiction writing than I normally do, and I’m feeling that loss deeply. So in figuring out what needs to go, some of the “business” side of writing (like marketing and self-promotion) is the easiest to put on pause.

I’ll still be active on BlueSky occasionally, so you may find updates from me there for a while!
