For this month, I’m starting out with September Thinkers and Tinkerers from Getting Nerdy! This article has September birthdays and inventions from the world of science.

Next up is Scientific American’s Science History from 50, 100, and 150 years ago, which includes a handful of quotes about science events from these years.

Finally, since September is the autumnal equinox, I’ve got a Live Science article with fun facts about autumn.

Even if you don’t write science fiction, there’s plenty of fodder here for other speculative fiction or even literary fiction or poetry!
