History That Never Was

Here we are with just days remaining before it’s September. I’m really not sure where this year went, though I am looking forward to autumn, my favorite season!

This month, I’ve got a lot of autumn-related prompts, which means there’s a bit more overlap between the columns.

Column 1 is the Swordtember prompt list for this year. The theme of this art challenge is to draw swords, so you can add that element in when you’re looking at the first column if you like.

Column 2 is The Petite Planner’s Oodles of Doodles list from 2024. I made some modifications to the items on this list, often condensing it to one word where I could. I also moved part of day 5’s prompt to day 15 and selected some of the words to make sure there was more of a difference between the prompts across the whole month.

Column 3 is Natural Beach Living’s September prompts from an unknown year. I also condensed some of these prompts to single words.

As usual, asterisks mean that the same word (or a very closely related one) appears on another day. You can skip one instance of the word, write on the same piece when the word appears on two different days, or use the word in a different way. Anything goes!
