Brass and Glass Still Shines!
My first novel, Brass and Glass: The Cask of Cranglimmering came out almost exactly eight years ago. Even though that’s quite some time ago, and I’ve accomplished a lot more writing goals since, I’m still proud of this novel! Though I don’t write as much steampunk any more, I enjoyed the worldbuilding and character development for the first book (and the other two that followed in the trilogy). Figuring out how some historical scientific advancements could be imported into a steampunk world was a lot of fun, even as I came up with some other technology that didn’t necessarily have real-world counterparts.
In addition to the history and science parts of the novel, there are a lot of fun character interactions, action, and adventure. So if you like steampunk, action, adventure, pirates, whiskey, or weird monsters, you should definitely check this book out!
