What I’m Reading, Watching, and Listening To, April 2025

Clip art of headphones, TV screen, and cat reading a sheet of paperReading: Primarily books to review, along with the appendices in Wonderbook. I’ve also just gotten my copy of C. D. Covington‘s Filling Your Worlds with Words, about linguistic worldbuilding, which I’m looking forward to tackling!

Watching: We watched Skeleton Crew somewhere along the line, and I forgot to mention it here. Definitely recommended if you love the Star Wars universe and shows featuring kids. Jude Law chews so much scenery, and the show has so much heart. It’s utterly delightful. (If you know me well, it may come as no surprise that I latched onto KB. She’s wonderful!)

Listening to: April begins the year of K-pop for me, with two concerts coming up this month. We’ll be seeing Just B (a six-member boy group) and XG (a seven-member girl group, with all Japanese members who were trained in the K-pop system and sing entirely in English). A lot of my faves have also released new music in anticipation of tours, so I’ve been scrambling to keep up with all of those!
