March 2025 Publications
I had a TON of new pieces out in March 2025, including poetry, drabbles, flash fiction, and short stories!
My flash fiction story, “Propagating Rosa glacies,” appeared in issue 12 of ALOCASIA. This is a flash fiction piece written as a gardening article (with a teaser for a future article at the end). It’s a bit dark in tone, nestling firmly in the realm of contemporary fantasy.
I had two short stories published in Rescuing Curiosity, an anthology from Inked in Gray and WriteHive. “One Person’s Nightmare” is a contemporary fantasy story that’s not quite as dark as the title suggests, and “It Can’t Be Sunday Everywhere at Once” is a sci-fi story. (I talked about both of these stories in more detail back in June 2024.)
My poem, “Communications Between the Queen of the Sea and the Queen of the Sun, Sisters,” appeared in issue 21 of Small Wonders. It uses natural phenomenon on Earth and the Sun as way for sisters to communicate and help one another (which culminates in a death).
Finally, I had two drabbles appear on the Iron Faerie Publishing website as part of their Hawthorn & Ash anthology. You can read “Witch Knight” and “Tarot Esoterica: The Black Lagoon,” both of which were part of my 2024 Drawloween / Drabbleween writing. They’re both fantasy stories, with the former as more traditional fantasy and the latter as more contemporary fantasy.
