By the numbers:
Stories out at the beginning of the month: 42
Acceptances received: 0
Rejections received: 13
Stories withdrawn: 0
Resubmissions: 10
New Submissions: 1
Stories out at the end of the month: 40

February was slow on the submissions front, and while I’d like to blame the shorter month, the reality is that I just haven’t been focused on submitting stories as much as I need to. I did write a new flash fiction piece, though, which is the one new submission for the month!

For my February goals, I wrote four flash fiction pieces, started revising two of the flash fiction pieces from January, did three craft book exercises, reviewed a couple of books, and watched more conference panels. I’ve also taken on some panel transcript editing and a teensy bit of video editing to get some old Flights of Foundry panels out into the world! And I decided to start working on my next Sure Shot novella, so I’ve been doing some character work for that!

In March, I’m going to TRY to:

  • Outline Sure Shot 3 and start writing it
  • Write five poems
  • Flights of Foundry panel work
  • Review a book
  • Read 2/3 of the appendices in the craft book (it has a LOT of appendices!)

It’s a much bigger list of work for March, but I think it’s doable!
