History That Never Was

I had two new stories out in or around February. (One was technically January, but I didn’t realize it was out until after my January story post!)

As I mentioned previously, I had four stories selected for the Hawthorn & Ash anthology, and the first of those has appeared on the Iron Faerie Publishing website. “Glaistig” is a drabble featuring a character who has become the specific kind of ghost in the title, from Scottish legend.

“The Voice in the Walls” is my latest flash fiction story in New Maps, which came out in the Winter 2025 issue, and is my fourth story in this magazine! It features a woman who has made an abandoned nuclear facility her home dealing with a new and unusual threat to her safety there.
