History That Never Was

The British Science Fiction Association (BSFA) Long List came out at the end of January, and lo and behold, Weathering Youth is one of the collections that was nominated! Now I realize that this is the long list, which is no guarantee of being selected as a finalist, but I was super excited to see my name on there!

There are a couple of books I reviewed that are also on the long list, including Sleeping World Have No Memory and The Dragonfly Gambit, and tons of other books I haven’t gotten to yet! And I see a lot of names I recognize on the various lists as well, making me hopeful that I will know at least one or two finalists, if not more!

So definitely look at the BSFA Long List if you’re looking for some recommendations on books, collections, stories, and non-fiction to check out! And if you’re a BSFA member, you can also vote on the nominations to help select the finalists!
