History That Never Was

My collection of fantasy short stories, Denizens of Distant Realms, might not seem like an obvious Valentine’s Day read, but it’s got a few stories within its pages that have a bit of romance and love within!

“Stormbringer” involves a young man asking for his beloved’s hand in marriage, but before she can accept, there’s a problem, which takes both of them to solve it. “Catch” is a coming-of-age story involving a mermaid and a young woman falling in love. And “The Cobbler’s Daughter” has magical shoes, a princess, and the inklings of love.

If you’re less interested in romantic love, “We Have Not Always Been Small” has a platonic long-term relationship between a witch and a dragon. And the other two stories in the collection, “A Dark Place” and “Dry Spell,” are more standard fantasy adventure stories!

Denizens of Distant Realms is a slim volume, but it’s available in both ebook and print formats!
