Weird History in Unfixed Timelines Omnibus
Unfixed Timelines Omnibus collects three volumes of my fantastical and weird history stories and poetry, along with essays explaining the real history that I altered into fictional versions of history.
The stories and essays touch on the Veiled Prophet from St. Louis in the nineteenth century (a weird mix of a civic organization with racist and classist undertones plus exoticism and storytelling), a murder tied to sex workers and the Oklahoma panhandle, the legality of mailing children, and how a person claiming to be the daughter of Calamity Jane and Wild Bill Hickok made her way into the historical record.
This is just a small sampling of some of the strange but true history I used to come up with ideas for my stories, and you can find these and many others in Unfixed Timelines Omnibus!
