My Historical Fiction from Last Year
I haven’t posted a summary of my historical fiction for a while, in part because there hasn’t been much to post. But last October, I released Unfixed Timelines 3 and Unfixed Timelines Omnibus. The former includes seven stories and one poem, several of which were previously published, along with essays about the history I altered for the stories and poem. The latter contains all of the stories, poetry, and essays from Unfixed Timelines 1, 2, and 3.
The series isn’t done, of course, because I’m still writing more historical fiction, But three volumes seemed like a good place to combine what had previously been only ebooks into a print version as well!
In addition to my collections, my flash fiction piece, “Sunrise,” appeared in Rise: Queer Sci Fi Flash, also in October 2023. This is a very brief piece involving a trans cowboy and his friend in a desperate situation.
I’ve had fewer pieces out in 2024, and none of it is historical fiction, but I’ve written several new pieces that are making the rounds!
