Fun for Friday: September 2024 Prompts!

A rare glimpse of my cats sharing a piece of furniture

September is just around the corner (and with it, hopefully cooler temperatures in the Northern Hemisphere as we slide toward fall), so it’s time for the September 2024 prompts!

This month, all of the prompts come from art challenges of a sort. They also play together in surprising and interesting ways, which I think could lead to some slightly surreal pieces based on the prompts. But that might just be the way my brain is wired!

The first column is from the Doodlewash September 2023 prompts, which I didn’t use last year (weirdly). Column 2 is from @everydaybulletjournal on Instagram for their September 2021 Doodle Challenge and Column 3 is their September 2020 Doodle Challenge! (Unfortunately, it looks like their last Doodle Challenge was for February 2022, but the older ones are still up at their Instagram!)

Check back on the last Friday of each month (or occasionally the first day of a new month, when that falls on a Friday) for my History That Never Was writing prompts!
