Where does the time go? It’s time for the June 2024 writing prompts!

The words in the first column this month are from Kick in the Creatives. I’ve shortened a couple into single-word prompts, but I left a few of them longer, as those felt more evocative with the entire prompt. (As always, you can find the full prompts at the link.)

The second column is from solarwing’s Junicorn prompts. These prompts go along with the idea of drawing a unicorn, so if you like, use these prompts with that in mind.

The third column is from flancortes’ Kaijune prompts. Similar to the above, these prompts are for drawing kaiju (like Godzilla, but not necessarily Godzilla shaped). You could include kaiju in your stories, or maybe combine them with the Junicorn prompts for unicorn kaiju!

This month also comes with a bonus photo of the Northern Lights from earlier in May. Our photos weren’t as vivid as some of the ones I saw, but this was my first experience seeing the aurora, even if it was through my phone! (The light pollution in Seattle made it nearly impossible to see without a camera, set to a LONG exposure.)
