History That Never Was

The schedule for this year’s WriteHive Online Conference is now available here! The event runs Friday, June 7 through Sunday, June 9. All of the times on the schedule are Eastern, so you may have to calculate your own time zone.

I’ll be speaking on two panels and moderating a third panel.

On Friday, June 7, at 5 p.m. Pacific/8 p.m. Eastern, I’m on a panel called “Making Each Word Count: A Short Story Master Class,” where we’ll talk about short story writing and publishing.

On Saturday, June 8, at 8:30 a.m. Pacific/11:30 a.m. Eastern, I’m on a panel called “Historians on History in Fiction,” where I get to nerd out about doing historical research and writing fiction based on it.

Finally, on Sunday, June 9, at 11:00 a.m. Pacific/2:00 p.m. Eastern, I’m moderating a panel called “Developmental Editing Basics for Aspiring Editors,” where I’ll get to ask questions of a group of talented developmental editors!

All of the conference events take place online, and you do need to register (but it’s free!) to attend.
