February 2024 Publications
I had three pieces come out in February, all flash fiction!
Small Wonders reprinted my story “Grandmother Firebird,” which is a sweet and cozy multigenerational tale of daughter, mother, and grandmother.
My story “The Glass Cauldron Shattered” appeared in 99 Fleeting Fantasies, an anthology of flash fiction pieces. This one takes a look at magical academia and tenure in a slightly tongue-in-cheek piece.
Finally, my story “Evergreen” appeared inĀ Inner Worlds’ second issue. This is a story of an adult child and their mother, dealing with grief and identity. This one does feature a parent with a terminal illness, which is a key part of the story.
