History That Never Was

We got an extra day in February, but now it’s time for the March 2024 writing prompts!

All three columns this month come from art challenges, which I always love to convert into part of my writing prompts. After all, we’re painting with words when we write, right?

Column 1 is from Kick in the Creatives, with a few slightly modified entries to make them only one or two words at most. You can always find the original prompts as written on their website.

Column 2 is from Doodlewash, and there’s a few recurring themes running through these that include plants, animals, and desserts! There are a few prompts that don’t fit within those categories, but I definitely sensed a theme as I added them to my list! There are a number of these that I’m going to have to look up when I use them!

Finally, Column 3 is from March of the Robots, which is an art challenge that explicitly excludes using AI-generated art. The list on the March of the Robots website also offers eight modifiers that you can use with their prompts, so feel free to add those in when you want to, either randomly or based on what makes the most sense to you!
