History That Never Was

“Intertwined” was my attempt to write a short story that mashed up the Regency period and steampunk. In this story, the main character is a young woman inventor who tires of high society. When she meets a young man with a similar opinion, she is delighted. But things turn quickly … and I’ll leave my explanation at that, so I don’t give away the ending.

I found with this story that there’s definitely room to mash up this time period and genre, and in fact, this story could probably be expanded into a novel. But for now, it exists as only a short story, and is only available in Wreathed in Steam!
