History That Never Was

It’s spooky season!

I mean, in my world, spooky season is year round, but it’s time for the October 2023 writing prompts, and this month, it’s all about Halloween!

Column 1, as it always is for the October prompts, is Mab’s Drawlloween Challenge. This one is always my favorite list, year after year! The hashtag for this one, should you want to see what folks are drawing for this challenge, is #mabsdrawlloweenclub.

Column 2 is Stingtober, which uses the hashtag #stingtober2023.

Column 3 is Queen Squirrel Art’s Drawtober, which uses the hashtag #queensdrawtober.

There’s a bit of overlap, particularly between columns 1 and 3, so I’ve starred those entries. Even when they aren’t identical, if they’re along similar lines, I went ahead and marked them. You can either skip those duplicate words, use those days to work on a piece that you started at the first occurrence, fill them in with different words of your own, or just double down and write several pieces with a similar theme!
