Spring-Themed Publications!

I didn’t have any new stories out in April this year, so let’s do a round-up of some of my spring-themed publications instead!

“Fiddle in the Middle,” which originally appeared in MYTHIC Magazine, is set in spring in Seattle. It’s the story of two sisters working through their differences to get along and stop the people who wronged them. You can also find “Fiddle in the Middle” in The Sidewalk Diverges.

“Five Days After” is also set in spring in Seattle, five days after St. Patrick’s Day. In it, leprechauns have to find their missing pot of gold. “Five Days After” is only in The Sidewalk Diverges.

“The Turn of the Seasons” is a more all-seasons poem, but you can find it in Sylvia Magazine.

“Four Seeds,” “Parallel Lives,” and “To the Underworld” are all Persephone poems, which puts them nicely in the spring category. You can find all three in Old Legends and New Fables.

Finally, “For the Weird Girls Who Want To Be Mermaids” was originally published in Orca: A Literary Magazine and takes place in spring, as a teen girl looks toward her summer and her future. You can also find this story in What If I’m a Merfolk?
