History That Never Was

Believe it or not, we’re almost to December and the end of the year! I feel like time is flying by this year, though that may just be in comparison to the last couple of years, which each seemed to last about a decade.

For this month’s writing prompts, I’ve collected a few different challenges from this year or previous years.

The words in column 1 come from Kick in the Creatives’ Doodling December for 2022. I tweaked a couple of these to make them single words, but I left some of them as phrases.

The words in column 2 come from Drawcember 2021, which has its own sub-Reddit for the month-long challenge.

Finally, the words in column 3 come from another sub-Reddit, this one for Talecember 2021, which is meant to be a world-building challenge in any media. (I also tweaked a few of these, as they had some break days and a choice option.) So if you’d like your writing challenge this month to be attached to world-building, you could use the third column as the part of the world you’re building, and the first and second columns for the more specific bit of that element of your world!
