History That Never Was

Alright, everyone. It’s spooky season, and we’re getting EXTRA weird for this month’s writing prompts!

As I often do for October, I’m pulling the first column of prompts from Mab’s Drawlloween Club. This year, Mab has opted to write prompts that will inspire lighter and sillier drawings (or stories).

But for my second column, I’ve drawn the prompts from Botober 2022, which were generated by an AI asked for “Halloween themed prompts.” The AI did its best. Note that any typos in this column are straight from the AI. Which means yes, the AI said “Chrstmas”. (And no, I have no idea what some of these mean. It’ll be an adventure!)

The third column is from a Tumblr called Art Prompt Calendar, and you’ll find the most normal prompts in this column.

Because things are so weird this month, you might choose to only focus on a single column. Of course, I’m going to be trying to incorporate as much as I can as I write pieces for Drawlloween, once of my favorite months of writing daily!
