History That Never Was

I swear, I do take pictures of things other than butterflies and flowers. The butterflies are just so photogenic!

Here we are, almost to September. Where has the year gone?

This month, I’ve borrowed the words from several art challenges. One of them is one for 2022, but the other two are older ones, as I couldn’t find current versions of their lists.

The first column is from the 2022 Kick in the Creatives Sketchathon challenge. The second column is from a 2020 doodle challenge. And the third column is from Evy Benita’s 2020 Sea-Tember challenge. I made a few small tweaks to the words to keep them closer to a single word or a very short phrase, but the gist of the different lists is all still there.

I particularly like the way that some of the words have lined up across a given day, even though each of these lists was made in isolation from one another. Cute little twists of serendipity delight me, and that’s why I get so much mileage out of having three words for prompts on each day!
