Horror Writing Tips from Chuck Wendig
Some topics are a little outside of my wheelhouse when it comes to writing advice. For example, in spite of my love of many spooky things, I’m not great at writing horror. I can write some creepy flash fiction occasionally, using the idea that leaving things to the reader’s imagination is a great way to make something spookier than it might be otherwise, but anything much longer than flash generally winds up being less horror and more dark fantasy (or dark sci-fi).
However, Chuck Wendig has a great list of 25 things you should know about horror writing, so I happily direct you to his blog, where you can learn about the things that I don’t have any solid advice on!
