History That Never Was

So it’s been hard to look any direction on the internet lately without seeing people raving about the Loki series on Disney+. And I’m here to join the clamor!

Though Loki may not have had quite the same pace and flash as some of the other recent MCU series on Disney+, it more than made up for that in the scope of the plot and the growth of Loki as a character. It was very “talky” in places, and some watchers found that boring. There are also a fair number of people disappointed with the ending (which I will not spoil, just noting that some people didn’t like it). However, I thought that both the talky-ness and the ending were wonderful in the scope of the show, even if they’re very different from what we’ve become accustomed to in the MCU.

I’m very much looking forward to season 2 of Loki, along with the multitude of things that will stem from this first season elsewhere in the MCU!
