History That Never Was

I don’t write a whole lot of true horror, because I don’t have a ton of experience with it. I do, however, write a number of slightly marginally creepy things. In this case, I wrote an epistolary YA novella set at a girls’ summer camp in the early 2000s. It’s a weird mix of almost horror and history, drawing heavily upon my experiences of being a camper when I was a pre-teen and teenager. At some point, I hope to take the story that I sketched out with the letters, articles, journal entries, and other ephemera and turn it into a full novel. But that’s far enough in the future that if you want to enjoy my slightly creepy writing, this novella is the best way to do so at the moment!
