New fiction!
I’ve got a piece of microfiction up at Bat Terrier today, called The Devil’s Toybox. It’s a 99 word story that grew out of a longer piece I was trying to write. The longer story didn’t work, but this little bit from the ending stuck with me. So I tightened it up into this little piece!
It’s a little bit on the horror side of things–the original story was meant to be creepy, and the ending, of course, turned out super creepy.
